Is it correct to wear the pocket square to match?
This is the question we are asking today on our blog with the aim of helping you choose the perfect look for the next wedding or event.
As many of you already know, it has not been fashionable to combine scarves with a tie or bow tie for a few years.
In the past it was "cute." You were a winner combining your cashmere print silk bow tie with a matching handkerchief sticking out of the suit pocket. However, now we are looking for a more subtle way to combine these two accessories, in addition to the fact that in the "folding" of the pocket square there is an entire art that evolves with fashions.
Therefore, if what you want is to wear a scarf with your bow tie in a modern, original and different way, do it with other combinations.
You can combine the scarf with the colors and/or textures of your suit, jacket, shirt or tie/bow tie motifs.
4 keys to combine your scarf with your bow tie
1. Focus on the color/colors of the motif (cactus, flamingos, figures) of your bow tie or tie and look for a handkerchief of a similar color.
2. The tone of the shirt . You can also play with the tone of the shirt to match your pocket square.
3. Combine it with the motif of your jacket . With the background, stripes, checks or colors of your jacket to choose your scarf.
4. Buttonholes. In sports jackets, the eyelets can be finished in different colors to give them a different and original touch. Try matching the buttonholes or buttons on your jacket with your pocket square instead of your bow tie.

Claro! Para gustos colores, y siempre hay personas que prefieren llevarlos a juego.
Sin embargo, aunque parezca un poco complicado combinar el pañuelo con otro elemento que no sea la corbata o pajarita, en la foto que hemos publicado en éste artículo, tienes un ejemplo sencillo para combinar un pañuelo con la camisa y con el tono de fondo de las flores de la corbata :)
La verdad es que las opciones que proponéis son un poco complicadas ya que encontrar el mismo tono de color que el estampado de la pajarita o de la camisa es bastante complicado, y si llevas varios accesorios del mismo color pero con distintos tonos, al final vas hecho un cuadro. Personalmente prefiero la pajarita y el pañuelo de la misma tela. Un saludo!
